Dr. Marta Wilson, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Marta Wilson founded TSI and leads TSI’s dynamic group of PhDs and possibility thinkers whose expertise guides executives to achieve bold enterprise transformation goals. Dr. Wilson represents TSI in the industry and regional community as a thought leader and innovator in the field of organizational excellence. A Board Member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, Dr. Wilson is active in multiple professional organizations.  She holds a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Virginia Tech specializing in leadership effectiveness. Dr. Wilson created and steers TSI's corporate social responsibility program, Feed to Lead, which nourishes the body, mind and spirit by supporting leadership potential in those who need a helping hand. A prolific writer, she has written leadership articles and books, including The Transformation Desktop Guide and Live A Difference.  Most recently, Dr. Wilson wrote Leaders in Motion: Winning the Race for Organizational Health, Wealth and Creative Power.

Dr. Altyn Clark, Chief Solutions Officer
Dr. Altyn Clark has over 20 years experience leading groups in the federal sector, and today guides all solution-based work at TSI and serves in an advisory capacity in all TSI customer initiatives. He is an expert in collaborative agenda design, group dynamics and processes, participant involvement, and linking organizational goals with group and individual objectives. In his role as consultant and facilitator, Dr. Clark has served national government agencies in the U.S., Canada and Botswana, as well as local and state agencies and private industry. A Licensed Professional Engineer and a long-standing member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE); Dr. Clark holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.

   

Dr. Garry Coleman, Executive Vice President, Marine Corps Programs
Dr. Coleman directs TSI's efforts with the US Marine Corps and the Joint MRAP Vehicle Program (JMVP) and has been recognized as a member of the JMVP team receiving the 2008 David Packard Excellence in Acquisition award. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and is also a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Dr. Coleman is a Fellow of the World Academy of Productivity Science, senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers, senior member of the American Society for Quality, and member of the International Council on Systems Engineering and American Society for Engineering Management. Previously he was a tenured Associate Professor of Industrial & Information Engineering at the University of Tennessee teaching in both the MSIE and Aerospace MBA programs. An expert in systems engineering, Dr. Coleman has authored or co-authored over forty papers and numerous technical reports on quality, productivity, and performance improvement.

Robert Wilson, Chief Operations Officer
With over 30 years of management and consulting experience, Mr. Wilson manages and monitors business operations of the company including legal, contracts, human resources, information technology and facilities. Mr. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech. On the strategic planning front, he works with TSI's management team to cascade the organization's strategy to direct reports and to implement appropriate rewards, recognition and coaching practices to align personnel with company goals and objectives. Prior to TSI, Mr. Wilson has worked with many clients – small to Fortune 50 on a wide variety of projects.

 

Brian Skimmons, Director, Navy Programs
A versatile business executive, Mr. Skimmons has over ten years experience leading change in organizations, improving financial and operations performance through analysis, strategic planning, restructuring, process improvement, as well as IT/automation enhancements. He is currently working with the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) within several Program Executive Offices and Directorates, and he has been recognized by the Commander of NAVSEA for his outstanding efforts in support of the General Fund Time and Attendance transition from SLDCADA to Navy ERP. A Project Management Professional and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Mr. Skimmons received his Master of Science in Technical Management from The Johns Hopkins University and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering for Communications from the Naval Postgraduate School. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy. He also completed the Senior Executive Advanced Management Program at the Wharton Business School.

  James Wilkins, Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Mr. Wilkins is responsible for all accounting and financial matters at TSI and establishes company-wide objectives and procedures. A professional with over 30 years of financial consulting experience, Mr. Wilkins owned and managed an accounting firm for over 20 years which specialized in consulting, tax, and accounting services for small and mid-sized businesses. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
